ABOUT US

Zivid is one of Norway's most ambitious technology companies, serving the global robotics market with our state-of-the-art 3D computer vision and robotics solutions. With more than 100 employees, engineering offices in Oslo and Trondheim, sales offices in six countries, and a diverse global customer base, Zivid is shaping the future of robotics.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Zivid Motion product (zivid.com/zivid-motion) is a novel global motion planning solution relying heavily on GPU acceleration and algorithm optimization for performance. The motion planner combines a 3D model of the robot cell, point clouds from our cameras and the robot kinematics and geometry, to create safe and efficient collision-free paths. As a Robotics Engineer, you will work hands on with industrial robotics automation, integration, performance optimization, user-experience, and system architecture challenges, in a team of 5-10 engineers, responsible for Zivid Motion. You will be delivering new features, supporting customer integration, testing new solutions in our simulator environment or robotics lab, and shipping our technology to customers and industries all over the world.
