About the Role

We are seeking a motivated student to join our team, focused on analysing conversion and churn data and proposing and implementing action-oriented solutions. You will work closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to identify friction points across the user journey, quantify impacts, test hypotheses and recommend improvements to reduce churn and increase conversion. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, curious, and comfortable translating data into clear recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse user funnel and cohort data to identify conversion bottlenecks and churn patterns

• Design and run experiments (A/B tests, retention cohorts, onboarding variations) to validate hypotheses

• Build dashboards and regular reports tracking key metrics (activation, retention, churn, LTV, conversion rates)

• Translate quantitative findings into concrete, prioritised recommendations for product, marketing and customer success

• Collaborate with product and design to scope and monitor changes, ensuring measurement is in place

• Support customer segmentation and lifecycle analysis to inform personalised messaging and offers

• Communicate insights clearly through written summaries and presentations to founders and stakeholders

Location & Commitment

• Duration: Two months, available through BI Internship only

• Remote-first with option to sit at Mesh Youngstorget and work alongside the CEO and other founders

• Flexible hours to fit academic commitments

Who We’re Looking For

• Analytical: Strong quantitative reasoning; comfortable working with analytics tools

• Data-aware: Experience or curiosity with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) is a plus

• Problem-solver: Can turn data into actionable, pragmatic recommendations

• Vibe-coder: Experience or curiosity with vibe-coding or AI-assisted programming is a huge plus, for you to actually build solutions into the software

• UX: Interest or experience in how users use software and how to make amazing user experiences

• Communicator: Clear written and verbal English; able to present complex ideas simply

• Team player: Collaborative, receptive to feedback and comfortable working across product, marketing and design

• Self-driven: Can manage time, prioritise tasks and deliver with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Currently studying Entrepreneurship, Business, Economics, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related degree at BI Norwegian Business School

• Strong attention to detail and ability to document methods and assumptions
