Do you want to help enable data-driven decision making within our product management and subscription team?

reMarkable creates hardware and software products that help people all over the world find focus. We launched our original reMarkable 1 paper tablet in 2017. Since then, we’ve sold more than 1,5 million devices, grown to over 400 employees, and transformed from a small startup to a fast-growing scaleup. Following the successful launch of the reMarkable 2, which was named one of TIME's top 100 inventions of 2020, our subscription service Connect in 2021, and the Type Folio in 2023, we've set ourselves exciting growth and product development goals for the coming years.

With a brand new campus opening in 2024 at Majorstuen in Oslo, and exciting products and services in development, we need new colleagues to join our journey.

The team you will be joining

reMarkable is growing rapidly and so is our need for data and insight. For this reason we have just embarked on an exciting journey to develop a world class data and insight capability. We are currently implementing a target state for data and insight that is heavily inspired by the Data Mesh paradigm of distributed data ownership.

In this role you will have the opportunity to be an embedded Data Analyst in our Product Management team. With this you will be enabling data-driven strategic decisions related to our products and subscription offerings. reMarkable is currently on an exciting journey where we are transitioning from being a pure hardware company to a company that also commercializes our software through subscriptions. This brings new opportunities and increased need for data and insight.

From a technical perspective you will get to work with a modern data stack based on GCP. Including Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, BigQuery and Looker. Additionally you will be working with supporting tools for transformation and orchestration (e.g. dbt, Terraform, Github) as well as ingesting tools such as Fivetran, observability tooling and event tracking tools like Amplitude.

The role as a Data Analyst

We are looking for an ambitious and curious Data Analyst who can help us reach our ambitions and targets related to product and software development and success. Included in this is helping us succeed commercially with the software we build through our current subscription service. Software is an increasingly important focus area for reMarkable which means that you will earn your place in a team with an important mission and management attention.
