About the role

As a Senior UX Designer at our Market Supertribe, you will help us shape the digital product development at reMarkable. The position is market- and e-commerce oriented, primarily focused on our web surfaces. Here you will play a central role in shaping the market- and e-commerce competence within the UX design team.

Your role will be to design excellent user experiences and be the user’s advocate of our users needs. For us, this means to both explore and discover; gathering insight, driving insight processes, doing concept development. And second to make and produce; working out sketches, prototypes and workflows on our web solutions (remarkable.com). You will be the link between business and tech, and will as such work closely with developers, team leads and product owners.

Who are you?

You are an UX designer with experience and expertise in design for digital e-commerce experiences, in acting as the users advocate, and in taking part in cross-functional teams in creative processes. Your “home” at reMarkable will be in the UX design team in the Design department. Experience with filling the operational role as Lead Designer in teams and projects is considered an advantage.

These are some characteristics we are looking for in the new UX designer:

• 3 years of higher education

• 3 + years of experience

• You consider yourself a professional with deep knowledge of the UX design field

• You are skilled and confident when it comes to the subject of UX - be it the design, process, or role

• E-commerce experience

• You enjoy making intuitive solutions with a clear sender.

• Experience with gathering user insights, both qualitative and quantitative, and using tools related to gathering user insight in an e-commerce setting.
