The Org department has a culture of innovation and playfulness, where we make continuous improvements and try out new ways of working. The People Team is well positioned and understood company wide and has a real impact on the company culture- making sure we constantly work “People first”, both strategically and operationally.
The People & Culture Team at reMarkable creates and implements all People related processes and projects. The team reports to the Head of People, is a part of the Org Tribe, and cooperates closely with Talent, Org Development, and leaders across the organization. The culture of the People Team is both professional and supportive; we bring out the best in each other, collaborate closely to share learning and have fun together.
As our new Senior People Advisor , your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on critical areas for reMarkable’s success. You will support our dedicated leadership team regarding People related practices. You can look forward to a wide range of exciting tasks and projects, where the most important and continuous are:

Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert of contact for your assigned senior leaders and their leadership teams. You will develop and support your designated leadership team by driving the central People Processes and initiatives, such as talent management, succession planning and salary review to name a few.

Spar on strategic People topics, translating business strategies into people strategies and action plans.

Responsible for day-to-day hands-on work of the People Team. Participate in the continuous improvement and further development of strategic people practices. This includes both reactive work, in a fast paced company, and proactive work, creating a scalable strategy and ways of working for our future success.
In sum, you will act as both a driver of processes and initiatives and as a dependable team player who excels in building partnerships and serving as a role model embodying our “People First” mentality.

If you have the following experience, we find it likely that you will succeed with us

Enjoy working with People! You have practiced active listening skills, and clear communication. You can mediate, or are motivated to develop yourself as a mediator.

Operational competency: 4+ years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in a company with global reach and/or the Tech industry.

Strategic mindset: Business mindset and financial understanding which helps drive a People Strategy that is aligned with reMarkable’s overall goals

Data-driven decision making : having experience with People analytics and able to turn data into compelling messaging using storytelling.

Trive in a fast phase environment, where we are consequently facing different ad-hoc challenges that require us to improving ways of ways of working on the go
-
Comfortable working in English : we have colleagues from all over the world!
Additional skills that are nice-to-have

Higher education within HR, or other relevant field
-
Exposure to employment law matters, Norwegian legislation & employment law
-
Previous involvement in company transformation, larger scale-up and understanding of business needs in various stages and in internationalization

Familiarity with compensation and benefits
