About the opportunity

You will be part of one of Norway’s largest Supply Chain departments making this an opportunity to learn from and cooperate with a big group of Supply Chain professionals with a varied background. The Logistics team is building a world class value chain which will match the best in the industry. Our priorities are always to exceed customer expectations across channels and geographies, it’s our job to make sure we set-up a delivery and reverse network that is responsive, flexible and resilient.

As Logistics Operations Manager, you will hold an important role in operating our global, customer-centric logistics network to deliver great customer experiences.

You will use your experience to succeed with reMarkable in these main areas of responsibility:

• Working with external partners. KPIs and SLAs are set in cooperation with our partners. This is where you come in- to develop and agree on KPIs and SLAs with our partners and follow up on their progress. This is a great opportunity to use your negotiation and cooperation skills.

• Collaborate with internal partners, such as others in Supply Chain, in the Sales and Finance teams so we can succeed together throughout the delivery process.

• Be responsible for day-to-day operations. You will ensure proper flow of various transport documents and solve various ad-hoc situations that may arise. It will allow you to tap into details that are critical for the end-to-end journey of our products and that all goes according to plan.

• Coach and support the Logistics Specialists. You are a secure, motivating and calming presence for the rest of the Operational Logistics team, they can escalate complicated cases to you and gain confidence.

We find that you will have success in this role if you have the following experience and skills:

• Hands-on experience with international logistics operations, preferably with airfreight

• Enjoy working with logistics and getting into the details mitigating risks in the delivery

• Solution oriented, ability to quickly identify problems and how we may solve them

• Thriving in a fast phase environment, where we are consequently facing different challenges that require us to improving ways of ways of working

• Feel confident with internal and external stakeholder management, especially following up our external partners

• You have excellent communication skills and comfortable doing so in English, collaborating with colleagues, partners and customers from all over the world

• It may be beneficial if you have higher education in a relevant field, such as business with logistics specialization
