About the role:
As a Visual Designer in our Digital Marketing unit you will primarily work on developing and designing digital ads and content, as well as assist with art direction in photo, film and 3D productions. You will work in a creative environment, closely collaborating with other designers, copywriters, marketeers, and platform specialists. We have high ambitions for our digital marketing going forward, and your work will reach millions of potential customers across the world.
What will be your main responsibilities?

Visual production for digital advertising platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Snapchat, TikTok, Google, etc.

As we constantly test and measure the effectiveness of what we do, you will spend much of your time iterating on ads based on how they perform

Designing emails and “organic” content for Instagram, blogs, etc.

Assisting with art direction in photo and film productions.

Photo editing, and preferably video editing and animation.

Contribute to evolving our visual profile and how the reMarkable brand presents itself on the various platforms.
Who are you?
You are someone who finds digital marketing exciting and enjoys creating visual communication that not only provides a premium brand experience, but also communicates effectively and boosts conversion.
You have experience with, and a good understanding of, best practices for designing ads for the different digital advertising platforms, both in terms of static ad designs and video/animated ads. You are accustomed to working within established brand guidelines but are comfortable challenging where you see the need.
You would describe yourself as someone who takes ownership and can work independently and structured. You have a keen eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sense. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can efficiently deliver high-quality visual outputs. It is important for you to work in a pleasant workplace that offers you good development opportunities and can provide you with a solid career path in the years to come.
We imagine that you have:

A portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience, including relevant work for this position.

A minimum of 2 years of education related to graphic design.

1+ years of work experience from an advertising agency, in-house marketing department, etc.

Experience with ad design for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Snapchat, TikTok, Google, etc.

Experience with design for content marketing such as email, blogs, organic content for social media, etc.

High proficiency in design programs like Figma.

Strong skills in photo editing programs like Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom.

Basic skills in video editing programs like Adobe AfterEffects / Premiere (Strong skills here are a plus).
Other relevant information:

Requires good English skills (written and verbal).

This position requires you to work in Oslo. Applications can be submitted in Norwegian and English.
