Job Description

To execute all clerical responsibilities and tasks associated with Shipping and Logistics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Account for all Landed Costs as it relates to raw materials
  2. Manage CMS Barge Unloading Invoices
  3. Scan and maintain Outbound Truck BOLs
  4. Scan and maintain Monthly Outbound Rail BOLs
  5. Scan and maintain Monthly WATCO Work Receipts
  6. Upload Shipping Operations documents into the HUB
  7. File Temp Worker Time Cards
  8. Management of office supplies for Shipping & Logistics
  9. Publish daily and ad-hoc reports as needed
  10. Performs other duties as requested
Qualifications:
  1. Requirements and Skills:
    1. Proficient use of the English language in reading, writing, and speaking
    2. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
    3. Ability to manage multiple tasks, to set priorities, and to meet deadlines
    4. Strong organization and analytical skills
    5. Self-managing; works well with little supervision
    6. Geographically competent
    7. Ability to clearly communicate with internal and external parties regarding issues and changes
  2. Education and Experience:
    1. High School degree or GED Equivalent
    2. 1 to 3 years of related experience preferred
    3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Environment is typically in an office setting with a controlled environment. Physical responsibilities do include going into the plant, external locations and scale houses as needed. General work hours are expected with some overtime depending on the workload.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not supervise others.
