What you will be doing
- Own and drive the full sales cycle end to end, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and close, focused on global manufacturing accounts.
- Build and execute account plans for complex, multi stakeholder organizations across multiple sites and regions.
- Partner closely with Business Development Managers and Growth Executives to ensure strong top of funnel pipeline creation while also maximizing expansion and upsell potential within the existing client base.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior decision makers and champions (Operations, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Digital, IT/OT, Finance), connecting their priorities to measurable outcomes.
- Run high impact discovery and deliver tailored demos, workshops, and business cases that show how PLAATO Insights creates value in real manufacturing environments.
- Lead internal deal teams and collaborate cross functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure solution fit, smooth handovers, and continuous product feedback from the field.
- Navigate procurement, security reviews, and legal processes with discipline, clarity, and pace.
- Contribute to improving PLAATO’s sales playbook by documenting learnings, shaping messaging, and building scalable processes that help the team win more consistently.
What will help you thrive
- 3 to 6 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, industrial tech, manufacturing software, or a high performing consultative sales environment.
- Proven ability to sell complex solutions with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles, including procurement and legal.
- Strong commercial ownership: you take responsibility for pipeline, forecast accuracy, and quota attainment, and you prioritize the company outcome over comfort.
- Excellent discovery skills and the ability to translate operational challenges into clear ROI and a compelling business case.
- Confidence presenting to senior audiences and running demos that are engaging, structured, and outcome focused.
- Comfort working internationally across time zones and cultures, with a genuine interest in global business development.
- A builder mindset: you take initiative, adapt quickly, learn fast, and help create repeatable systems as we scale.
- Openness to feedback and continuous improvement, you use input to get better every week.

Practicalities
- Location: Oslo, in-office
- Travel: Frequent travel should be expected. Trips rarely last more than a week, but several week-long trips per year should be expected.
