Operations & Logistics Manager

Build scalable global logistics at Nofence. Lead projects, shape processes, support country teams, and play a key role in ERP implementation as we grow internationally.

The Operations & Logistics Manager plays a key role in strengthening and scaling Nofence’s global logistics and inventory operations in a decentralized setup. The role focuses on project management, process design, systems enablement, and cross-regional alignment, supporting country organizations that own their local logistics and P&L.

This is a senior individual contributor role with people management responsibility, combining hands-on operational work with coordination, facilitation, and continuous improvement across markets.

Key Responsibilities

Global Logistics Enablement & Alignment

  • Act as a central logistics and operations counterpart for country and regional teams.

  • Support country organizations in improving logistics setups, flows, and performance, while respecting local ownership and P&L responsibility.

  • Facilitate alignment across markets by sharing best practices, standards, and frameworks.

  • Help countries structure and execute logistics-related projects (e.g. new warehouse, new carrier, changes in distribution model).

3PL & Logistics Partner Support

  • Support country teams in evaluating, onboarding, and improving 3PL and warehouse partners.

  • Provide structure, templates, and project management support for 3PL initiatives led by country organizations.

  • Help define common expectations, KPIs, and review formats for logistics partners across markets.

  • Act as a sparring partner and escalation point for complex logistics topics.

ERP Implementation & Process Design

  • Act as a key operations stakeholder in ERP selection and implementation, led by the Head of Business Technology.

  • Represent logistics and inventory requirements in ERP design, configuration, and testing.

  • Define and document logistics and inventory processes, roles, and data structures.

  • Ensure ERP workflows support real operational needs across decentralized markets.

  • Support rollout, training, and adoption related to logistics and inventory processes.

Inventory Planning & Forecasting Support

  • Support Planning & Procurement with inventory planning and forecasting from a logistics and systems perspective.

  • Help translate forecasts into logistics, warehousing, and operational implications.

  • Ensure lead times, inventory parameters, and replenishment logic are reflected correctly in systems.

  • Actively identify and follow up on inventory imbalances, capacity issues, and logistics constraints, working closely with Finance to investigate inventory discrepancies and execute monthly inventory corrections.

  • Coordinate new product launches by ensuring all required data, documentation, and system configurations are completed and validated prior to launch.

Project Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional logistics and operations projects.

  • Improve end-to-end logistics processes (order flow, returns, replenishment, exception handling).

  • Develop SOPs, documentation, and clear operating models to support scale.

  • Use data and KPIs to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

Team Leadership

  • Line manager for the Logistics Coordinator.

  • Set priorities, routines, and escalation paths.

  • Drive professional development and ensure strong day-to-day execution.

Travel

  • Travel is expected to warehouses, logistics partners, and regional teams as needed.

Qualifications & Profile

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations in an international environment.

  • Strong experience working with ERP systems (implementation or major change projects).

  • Comfortable operating in decentralized, country-led organizations.

  • Strong project management and facilitation skills.

  • Able to balance structure and pragmatism in a growing company.

  • Hands-on, collaborative, and comfortable working across functions and cultures.
