Nofence is a Norwegian scale up who has built the world’s first virtual fencing solution for livestock. As we aim to revolutionize livestock management we will need top-notch competence in our team, and we are now hiring for a 1-year temporary position as Logistics Coordinator.

About the role

The main responsibilities for this role will be:

• Following up on shipments and logistics at our suppliers.
• Supporting our EMs.
• Communication and follow up with our carriers.
• Keeping track of stock, warehouses and products coming in and out.
• Answering logistics related inquiries from our customers through our CRM system.
  
• Supporting the monthly stock count and closing.
  
• Monthly reporting (Amongst others: WEEE Europe and Declaration archive).
  
• Supporting our international offices and the Operations team.
  
• Return handling.
  
• General logistics projects
  

About you

The right candidate is preferred to have the following qualifications:

• Relevant Bachelor or Masters degree, or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of work experience from Logistics-related roles is preferred, but newly educated candidates within logistics will also be considered.
• Ideally you have experience with coordinating shipments abroad.
• Fluent English oral and written communication skills. Our working language is English.
• Some Norwegian skills would be an advantage but not a requirement.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strategic mindset with a proactive and results-oriented approach.

Managing livestock has always been a challenge. Humanity has tried everything from herding with dogs to walling the animals in with barbed wire, electric, and wooden fences, but these are costly and time-consuming solutions and often in conflict with the local wildlife. It has also left vast areas of potential pasture overgrown and underutilised.
