You'll join a small, focused team where your impact truly matters. You’ll play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our mobile products.

Your area of responsibility
- Take the lead in designing, building, and scaling our SDKs and apps
- Together with the team, make decisions on how to build the best solutions for our customers and shape our tech stack.
- Monitor and optimize app performance to ensure smooth operation across devices and OS versions.
- Write clean, maintainable code and implement rigorous testing to deliver a robust and secure platform.


What we are looking for:
To succeed in this senior role, you should bring a strong mix of technical depth, domain expertise, and leadership capabilities. Specifically, we are looking for:

- Proven SDK & App Mastery: You have extensive experience designing, developing, and delivering robust Software Development Kits (SDKs) and applications at scale. You understand the nuances of building developer-friendly, highly reliable, and easily integrable SDKs.
- Deep - Domain Expertise in Biometrics: As a senior driver on our team, you bring concrete past experience working directly with biometric technologies. You have hands-on experience with facial recognition, advanced image processing, liveness detection, and optimizing complex mobile camera pipelines.
- Cross-Platform Proficiency: You have strong technical expertise across multiple mobile ecosystems, with deep knowledge of native Android and iOS development, as well as cross-platform frameworks like React Native. You know how to maintain performance and feature parity across different environments.
- Platform Curiosity: You are the type of developer who immediately dives into the release notes whenever a new iOS or Android beta drops. You stay ahead of the curve, anticipating how new OS-level features, API deprecations, or privacy updates will impact our architecture and product roadmap.
- Security & UX Advocate: You are deeply passionate about the intersection of cybersecurity and user experience. You know how to build highly secure, compliant solutions that protect sensitive user data without adding unnecessary friction to the customer journey.
- Team Leadership & - Mentorship: You don't just write great code; you elevate the people around you. You are eager to push for improved development practices, ship exceptional products, mentor your peers, and actively shape the strategic direction of our tech stack and product vision.
- Autonomous & Proactive: You thrive in a hybrid work environment. You are a self-starter who excels at self-management, communicating effectively across distributed teams, and driving projects forward with minimal hand-holding.

Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience working with NFC technologies on mobile devices.Industry knowledge from the financial services sector, eID (electronic identification), or the broader identity verification and authentication space.
- Deploying machine learning models in native mobile environments

Location
Our offices are in Gjøvik and Oslo, and we operate as a hybrid team. While we offer significant flexibility in where you work, we prioritize meeting in person during your onboarding phase. As our biometric team is based in Gjøvik, you should expect to travel there regularly in the beginning to build a strong foundation and gain a deep understanding of our product context. Once you are well-settled and aligned with the team, we transition to a more flexible schedule with periodic in-person meetings as needed.
