About Li-Tech

Li-Tech aims to revolutionize waste facilities by being the first to offer a solution that reduces battery-related fires. Our vision is to create a safe, environmentally friendly and resource-efficient waste management.

Li-Tech will achieve this by developing a detection method that identifies flammable batteries in electronics early in the waste stream. Li-Tech has a large network and access to resources. We collaborate with Avfall Norge, NorSirk and the Norwegian University of Life Science (NMBU). In addition, we have obtained a paying pilot customer and partner, Stena Recycling - one of the leading recycling companies in Northern Europe.

We are now looking for an embedded / system developer to join our team!

Do you want to be a part of a proactive and innovative startup? Li-Tech offers a unique opportunity to join our team as system developer and co-founder. The position gives you the opportunity to drive the product development towards commercialization - becoming the markets leading provider within battery detection and fire management.

We are looking for a team-oriented embedded system developer with a strong technical background. Together with our technical team, you will work hands-on with system integration and architecture, embedded systems and firmware development.

As an embedded/system developer you will be responsible for coordinating the technical development, in addition to design, validate and optimize our firmware- and software systems in collaboration with demanding customers. Our multidisciplinary team is working closely with our pilot customer and the academic environment at the Norwegian University of Life Science (NMBU).

Due to our dynamic environment - you have to be proactive, solution oriented and be comfortable with challenges. The eagerness to learn, be curious and challenge existing solutions is highly valued.

Our prototype (proof-of-concept) has been verified in a lab - the next step is to install it in industrial environments for further testing and development.

Your key responsibilities will be

  • Design, implement and optimize system architecture and - integration
  • Coordinate and organize the product development
  • Test, verify and optimize firmware and software systems
  • Embedded system programming

Preferred qualification and experience

  • Computer science/software engineer background, or similar.
  • Knowledge or experience with: Rust (programming language), S2-bucket, Postgres and actix-web
  • Cloud experience, AWS e.g.
  • Experience with hardware/firmware
  • Project management and communication skills
  • Curious and eager to learn new stuff

The employment is full time - Salary and shares are to be negotiated.
