Kahoot! is seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and distributed People team.

As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the overall employee experience and ensuring that Kahoot! remains a great place to work.

The People Operations Specialist's main responsibility shall be to provide administrative and operational support to the People Team on dedicated projects with special emphasis on HR operations and recruitment.

The position will be based in Copenhagen, reports to the VP of People located in Oslo, and is a maternity leave cover with possibility of extension.

At Kahoot!, we follow an office-first approach, and this role involves being in the office a minimum of four days each week to foster collaboration and team spirit.

Responsibilities:

Operations:

  • Assist in maintaining the internal HR information systems and ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Manage general HR administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate employees’ onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Provide monthly payroll inputs to the finance team.
  • Maintain candidate databases and tracking systems with up-to-date information.
  • Handle sensitive information confidentially, such as background checks or personal details.
  • Enhance and facilitate an engaging work environment in the Copenhagen office.

Recruitment:

  • Support hiring teams in recruitment processes with special focus on job postings, candidates vetting, scheduling interviews.
  • Screen resumes and application forms to identify qualified candidates.
  • Perform initial phone or video screenings to assess candidates' qualifications and interest levels.
  • Schedule interviews by coordinating availability between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Arrange interview logistics, including virtual meeting setups or in-person accommodations.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for candidates, maintaining communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure they are engaged and informed.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or similar
  • Minimum of 3/4 years working experience in the Human Resources field
  • Proven experience in recruitment for sales roles
  • International HR experience or background particularly from one of Kahoot!'s other office locations such as the US, is an advantage
  • Desired: Experience with Compensation & Benefits, including supporting payroll, managing bonus/incentive programs, and overseeing employee benefits plans
  • Knowledge of HR Information Systems like HiBob would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
  • Self-driven, proactive at identifying and executing on opportunities
  • Team player with the ability to work in a distributed and international environment
  • Ability to see the full process flow of information and actions
  • Ability to handle and be flexible in an environment with a high pace and frequent changes of priorities
