The position

Do you love creating games? Do you know everything there is to know about Unity? Do you have an interest in pedagogy and making learning awesome? Are you looking for an adventure that is both meaningful and unique? If so, then Kahoot! has got the job for you! We are strengthening our Learning Apps Team to bring our learning products to their best potential! As a Unity developer at Kahoot!, you will have an active role in the continuous improvement and day-to-day operations of these core products.

For this role we are looking for two new team members. Ideally one will be in Oslo and one in Paris. For those who are interested to work in Paris, we will look for freelancer. Meanwhile in Oslo, we look for a permanent hire.

The team

Joining us working on the Learning Apps, you will join a flat-structured team that values and encourages developer-led initiatives. You will work cross-functionally with engineers, designers, product managers, and testers on our award-winning learning apps, providing the best learning experience for our users.

• Shipped and maintained at least one game as a senior developer
• Minimum 5+ years working professionally with Unity and C#
• Experience working with multiple products/modules regularly
• Experience providing technical reviews and mentorship
• The ability to model and debug complex process flows
• English proficiency

Ideally, you would also have experience with:

• Authentication, in-app purchases, commercial flows in general
• Async programming
• Dependency injection
• Refactoring
• Automated testing
• Build and app store automation / fastlane / ruby
