About the Role
The Commercial Director – Joymo UK will lead our sales strategy and execution in the UK, spearheading our next phase of growth. This role will focus on driving adoption of Joymo’s platform among sports rights holders, governing bodies, clubs, schools, and universities across the UK. The successful candidate will build and manage a strong sales pipeline, close high-value partnerships, and develop new revenue opportunities, with a particular emphasis on sport and education sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the UK sales strategy, targeting sports rights holders, governing bodies, clubs, schools, and universities.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Build, manage, and nurture relationships with key partners to increase adoption and long-term value.
- Negotiate and finalise commercial agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver exceptional partner experiences.
- Represent Joymo at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to the leadership team.
Requirements
- Proven track record in a senior sales, commercial, or partnerships role, ideally in sports, media, education, or technology.
- Strong network within the UK sports ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.
- Passion for sports and technology.
What We Offer
- Salary range: £70,000–£80,000, plus performance-related OTE bonus
