The Huddly Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the Mid-Atlantic Region is a sales position with a primary focus on driving sales growth, business development, and effective channel management within the specified geographic area. This role demands an ambitious, seasoned professional who possesses an in-depth understanding of the unified communications and collaboration (UCC) industry, particularly in the Videoconferencing sector. Territory includes Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The RSM will report to the VP of Channels and Distribution (VP, C&D) for North America.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of regional sales growth, channel development, and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Working with the East Coast team and the VP, C&D to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored for the Mid-Atlantic Region, harmonized with Huddly's overarching goals. Lead revenue growth initiatives by identifying novel business opportunities, recruiting and developing channel partners, winning new key accounts, expanding market presence, and optimizing sales potential both geographically and across verticals.
- Customer Engagement: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key customers and prospective clients in the region. Attentively comprehend customer requirements, deliver tailored solutions, and guarantee elevated levels of customer satisfaction.
- Channel Partner Management: Recruit, foster, and diligently manage strong relationships with pivotal channel partners, including system integrators, VARs and service providers. Collaborate closely with partners to create business plans and ensure well-devised go-to-market strategies.
- Strategic Vendor and Platform Partner Management: Huddly is working with some key strategic partners to deliver solutions to the market together. These will include but not limited to, Microsoft, Zoom, Google, Lenovo, Shure and Barco. The RSM will build aligned business strategies for the region to bring these partnerships to life for our end customers and channel partners.
- Consultant Engagement: The Mid-Atlantic region has strong AV and workplace consultant community which needs to be nurtured and educated on Huddly solutions and partnerships to allow our products to be specified in larger projects in the region. The RSM will hold the responsibility of cultivating these key relationships for Huddly in the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage in seamless collaboration with internal teams, such as marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure alignment of strategies and initiatives. Contribute valuable insights from the field to shape and enhance the overall customer experience.
This is you:
- 5-10 years of success in regional or territory sales within the technology, UCC, or video conferencing industry, with experience driving growth in the Mid-Atlantic region preferred
- Experience selling into federal, state, or public sector environments strongly preferred
- Proven success in channel development and partner management
- Strong consultative B2B sales skills and understanding of unified communications and collaboration solutions
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue objectives
- Strategic thinker with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Exceptional team, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Native English speaking
- Based within the greater Washington, DC metro area (Northern Virginia or Maryland preferred), with the ability to support regular in-person engagement across the territory
- Willingness to travel as needed across the Mid-Atlantic region
