WHO WE ARE:

Founded in 2016, Heimdall Power is redefining grid intelligence to create a smarter, more resilient energy future. Trusted by more than 50 utilities across 20 countries, Heimdall Power helps utilities optimize grid performance, prevent outages, protect infrastructure, and ensure compliance. At the core of Heimdall Power's platform is the Neuron™, a cutting-edge, power line–mounted sensor with plug-and-play software, advanced communication technology, and drone-based installation. THE POSITION:

Heimdall Power is seeking a Project Manager to support our growing customer base across North America. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate technical activities throughout the project lifecycle—from planning and installation to post-deployment support—ensuring accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction in all new installations, while also providing ongoing analytic and technical support.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams located in both the United States and Norway. The Project Manager must be a quick learner, able to rapidly understand the company’s products and services. The position demands a high level of responsibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Travel is an essential component of this job.

  • Conduct key project management tasks, including:
    • Line analysis
    • Sensor commissioning
    • Software deployment
    • Integration of Heimdall Power’s solutions into customer’s Energy Management System (EMS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems

On-Site Management

  • Travel to project sites to support installations, facilitate system integrations, and deliver training to ensure successful deployment and customer adoption.

Customer Experience

  • Provide technical support and valuable insights to customers, by responding promptly to feedback, assisting with installations, and supporting ongoing maintenance and operational activities.

Product and Solution Updates

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal technical teams and act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding new product releases, features, and technical updates.

Sales Support

  • Assist the sales team by preparing proposals for RFPs, RFIs, and by supporting various stages of the sales process with technical and project related expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
  • Three years or more of experience in the power transmission and distribution industry, with preferred expertise related to EMS/SCADA systems
  • A project management certification, such as PMP or PRINCE2, earned in the software as a service (SaaS) and/or IT sectors
  • An ITIL certification is an advantage

SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated ownership mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • A customer-centric attitude and previous experience in customer-facing roles in technical environments
  • An ability to manage highly operational duties, participate in customer meetings, and oversee multiple projects with varying timelines simultaneously
  • Experience working with industry protocols for data integration into EMS/SCADA systems
  • Capability to work effectively as part of an international team
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when necessary

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • A competitive, comprehensive compensation package:
    • 401(k)
    • Dental, health, and vision insurance
  • An energetic and dynamic workplace environment
  • An opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology and contribute directly to solving the challenges of the North American grid
  • Professional development rooted in passion and a shared purpose to advance the world’s most critical infrastructure—the power grid

About Heimdall Power

Founded in Norway in 2016, we set out with a clear purpose: to bring greater awareness and intelligence to power grids—making them safer, smarter, and more responsive. Inspired by our namesake, we believe in seeing clearly, acting early, and never standing still.

From day one, our work has combined Nordic engineering principles with global ambition. What began as a bold idea in the Nordics is now a growing network of technology, partnerships, and purpose—deployed across continents, supporting some of the world’s most forward-thinking grid operators.

The world’s energy systems are experiencing rapid change and unprecedented pressure. Our goal is to help ensure that change is both manageable and meaningful—with solutions that strengthen the grid, the people who operate it, and everyone who depends on it.
