WHO WE ARE
Heimdall Power is a growing Norwegian tech company established in 2016. We have global ambitions and are already present in 15 European countries as well as the US. Our goal is to help optimize power grids worldwide, promoting a swift, secure, and affordable green energy transition. Our unique offering combines software and sensors to increase capacity in existing power grids by 30%. This technology enables integration of more renewable energy and electrification of consumption. By making better use of what we already have, we reduce carbon footprints while also creating value for society, industry, and our shareholders.
What will you be working with
- Develop test systems and algorithms for effective testing of electronics hardware and firmware
- Be involved in the development process to enable efficient testing
- Close collaboration with the hardware and firmware development team
- Participate in electronics design reviews
- Plan and execute verification tests
- Test automation
- Debugging and failure analysis
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
Who are we looking for
- BS/MS in Electronics or equivalent
- Good practical skills using oscilloscopes, soldering irons etc.
- Good knowledge and experience with schematics and PCB layout
- Scripting using python or similar
- Understanding and experience with embedded software
- Ability to work in team with other engineers and functions, gather information, and share knowledge
- Knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging
- Python programming skills
- Experience with communication protocols like UART, I2C, SPI and I2S
- Experience with types of networking such as mesh networks, LTE-M and Bluetooth
- Experience with test automation
