THE POSITION:

As a Bid Manager at Heimdall Power, you will be a pivotal part of our commercial team, responsible for leading our bid process, managing contracts, and supporting the sales team. Your role will be vital in positioning Heimdall Power to successfully secure and manage relevant tenders, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and client requirements, and fostering robust client relationships through strategic bid management and effective contract negotiations.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in leading tender processes and a solid background in legal or contract management. This role requires an individual who can seamlessly navigate the intricacies of tender submissions, coordinate effectively across all levels of the organization, and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bid and Tender Management: Lead the tender process from identification to conclusion, working closely with the Head of Sales and Account Managers to strategize and prepare winning bids.
  • Contract Management: Ensure the comprehensive oversight of all commercial contracts, aligning them with our business practices and strategic objectives.
  • Sales Support: Develop sales documentation and respond to client requests for information, playing a key role in the proposal development process.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Guarantee the tender process adheres to internal and client specifications, delivering high-quality submissions that address all technical, contractual, and commercial aspects.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with various teams to formulate bid strategies, ensuring a cohesive approach that leverages Heimdall Power’s strength

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Law, or proven experience in contract management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in bid management.
  • Demonstrated competence in effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Robust capacity to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, complemented by excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Prior experience in the Power Transmission and Distribution Industry is considered a plus, but not a mandatory requirement
  • Technical orientation, understanding, and interest
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus
