As our new AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the backbone of our technical operations. You will dive deep into the world of serverless architectures, working with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, ECS/Fargate, and API Gateway to ensure seamless deployment, scalable management, and robust performance of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Serverless System Mastery: Spearhead the deployment and scaling of our serverless infrastructure, ensuring optimal configuration, security, and efficiency across all processes.

• CI/CD Leadership: Utilize GitHub Actions to maintain and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, promoting a culture of continuous integration and continuous deployment that supports our agile development practices.

• Infrastructure as Code Innovations: Manage and expand our AWS infrastructure using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), ensuring that our infrastructure provisioning meets the highest standards of code quality and reusability.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, fine-tune processes, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and minimal downtime. Utilize your expertise to make data-driven decisions that improve system resilience and efficiency.

• Security and Compliance: Vigilantly guard the security of our operations, employing the latest AWS security best practices and tools to protect data and infrastructure from potential threats.

What You Bring:

• Expertise in AWS: Deep understanding of AWS serverless services and proven experience managing cloud-native architectures.

• Proficiency in CI/CD and IaC: Strong background in using GitHub Actions and AWS CDK, with a knack for automating and improving development workflows.

• Programming: Proficient in Python, capable of scripting and automating tasks to streamline operations.

• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide solutions in high-pressure situations.

• Team Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven record of contributing positively to team dynamics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
