The food supply chain is still dominated by few gatekeepers with highly centralized market power, preventing food producers and buyers from trading directly and thereby being in control of what is produced and how prices are set. In order to give the power back to those who make the food and those who buy the food, we started the technology-driven company Dagens in 2017. Dagens' digital platform makes it possible for farms and kitchens (B2B) to trade directly and on their own terms. We make sure the produce gets from farm to kitchen in the freshest and most resource-effective way by coordinating information among innovative actors along a new data-driven supply chain. This ensures that producers get a bigger part of the profit, and chefs get easy access to biodiverse produce at competitive prices. Securing the maintenance of ecosystems, biodiversity, and animal welfare should not be an option. Take a stand, and be part of co-creating a transparent and resilient food system together with the world.
