Current Eco AS is seeking a QA Integration Engineer to join our team. You will primarily focus on testing and verifying the functionality of our charging boxes, ensuring they comply with industry standards and meet our quality requirements. Additionally, you will contribute your expertise as a QA Engineer to test and ensure the reliability of the software we develop. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, playing a crucial role in delivering top-notch EV charging solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive testing and verification of charging boxes, ensuring their functionality, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
- Test and ensure the reliability and functionality of software components developed in-house, following established quality assurance processes.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both hardware and software testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Document and communicate test results, defects, and technical issues to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain and update the testing environment, including hardware configurations, software versions, and test setups.
- Provide expert guidance and support to internal teams regarding hardware and software-related matters, acting as the go-to person for QA-related questions.
- Collaborate with hardware suppliers, software developers, and other stakeholders to address technical queries, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Support the development and maintenance of installation guides, user manuals, and technical documentation related to charging boxes and software components.
- Assist in maintaining the charging box database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on all models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive problem solver with a strong analytical mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Icing on the cake
- Experience in testing and verifying either hardware or software, preferably both
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to backend systems and hardware integrations.
- Prior experience in the EV or the automotive industry
- Understanding of charging box technology and familiarity with OCPP standards.
- Previous experience in technical writing and documentation is a plus.
