To achieve a healthy development and further growth, this is a problem that needs to be addressed. According to Seafood Norway (the Association for Seafood Food Companies), a reduction in salmon lice of 5% will lead to a reduction in the need for treatment of salmon by 60%. With 4000 cages, the potential is great. Blue Lice has completed a successful pilot for its product, and is now in the process of patenting the idea.
