Are you a Product Designer passionate about using game design principles to make learning engaging and fun?
👋We’re Attensi, a tech company born in Norway with a passion for gamified simulation training. Since 2012, we’ve grown into a global player, with solutions trusted by some of the world’s biggest brands across 150+ countries and 50+ languages.
We combine gamification, realistic interactive scenarios, and decision-driven dialogues, all powered by our own game AI, to deliver immersive, hands-on learning experiences that scale across large organizations and drive real behavior change.
Our clients include Circle K, BCG, PwC, Accenture, KPMG, ABB, Equinor, and Novartis. Today, we’re a team of 240+ Game Changers across Europe and the US, with 120 of us based at our HQ in Oslo.
What we're looking for
We’re looking for a Product Designer with a strong game design mindset and a clear sense of quality. Someone who understands what makes experiences engaging, and who cares deeply about how training and learning actually feel.
You’ll shape game-based learning experiences end to end; working hands-on with visual design, interaction, timing, and feedback. Your goal is to make learning genuinely engaging and rewarding; not just usable.
You’ll collaborate closely with product managers and developers to turn ideas into concrete, playable experiences, and you’ll be trusted to explore, prototype, and invent new concepts when needed.
What you'll do
Design engaging game-based learning experiences with a strong focus on interaction, feedback, and progression
Shape how choices, consequences, and rewards are experienced by the user
Work hands-on with visual design and interaction design to bring ideas to life
Collaborate closely with product managers and developers in small, cross-functional teams
Prototype, test, iterate, and refine concepts; often without perfect information
Who you are
You’ll often work without perfect information. We expect you to trust your judgement, try ideas out, and use experience and intuition to move things forward.
You likely:
Have a strong understanding of game design principles and how to apply them to digital products
Have a sharp eye for visual quality and detail
Enjoy designing interactions that feel clear, responsive, and rewarding
Care deeply about how users experience choices, feedback, and progression
Quickly spot what’s missing and how an experience can be improved
Have experience from smaller teams or interactive products where delivery and quality both mattered
Built something cool you’d like to share? We’d love to see examples of what you’ve built before, such as a portfolio, case studies, or other relevant work.
