UX/UI Designer

👋 We are Attensi, a global company founded in Norway specialized in gamified simulation training. Since our inception in 2012, Attensi has grown to become a global leader in the field, with training solutions used by global brands in more than 140 countries and in 50 different languages.

We work with some of the largest professional services, consulting, hospitality, leisure retail, and pharmaceutical brands in the world including Circle K, Starbucks, BSH, Delivery Hero, Costa Coffee, PwC etc. Attensi’s team now consists of more than 250 Game Changers across our offices in Norway, UK, US, and Germany - and we’re still growing.

Passionate about UX/UI design and product development?

We are on a mission to empower people to master new skills and behaviors. We achieve this by creating game-changing training solutions founded on the principles of simulation and gamification. We make solutions that generate real world impact!

The Attensi team in Oslo, where our tech and product teams are sitting, is searching for a new UX/UI designer who will join a skilled multi-disciplinary team, designing features, user interactions and product development.

You'll have the opportunity to join Attensi on our journey into what promises to be some incredibly exciting years, all while working on what you excel at. Attensi boasts a young but strong technical community, proud that there's room for everyone—whether you prefer sneakers or slippers. The structure is flat, and the path from idea to decision and production is extremely short.

What will you do?
As a UX/UI designer, designing is of course a significant aspect of your role, but it's not your sole responsibility. You will be a part of an agile, cross-functional team where your voice, opinion and skills matter and are valued. As the expert in your field, you will be a crucial part of every aspect of our product development, from idea to finished feature.

In other words, you will:

  • Design user interfaces for web applications and gamified software.
  • Understand and improve user flows and interface designs.
  • Produce low-fidelity and high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to communicate concepts and ideas to all parts of the organization.
  • Ensure a consistent visual expression across different touchpoints.
  • Take part in an agile, cross-functional team to plan, develop, and deliver products and features.
  • Utilize user insights to create effective visual designs across all digital platforms

Who are you?
You probably have some experience as a UX/UI designer, whether from internships, summer jobs, or your first professional roles. Having a couple of years of working experience is a plus, but we know talent, skills and instinct can come in different shapes and forms. You're great with details but also know when to focus on the big picture. You understand product development and may have even tested your skills in a startup or scale-up environment.

You have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design and/or interaction design.
  • Good understanding of graphic design and what creates good user experiences.
  • Experience with Figma, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Indesign, etc., or equivalent).
  • Interest in working with solutions for mobile, pc, and web.
  • Experience building a concept into a finished feature or product.
  • Experience with video games, either professionally or as a hobby.

Most importantly, you're someone who's ready to take ownership, show initiative, and is eager to grow in your field while learning from the best in the business.

We believe you'll thrive in the role if you:

  • Want to make your mark on projects and products.
  • Enjoy working in an environment where superfast are one of our core values, and where we’re not afraid to fail.
  • Enjoy working closely with other technical and creative individuals.
  • Find a quick path to a solid solution and iterate along the way.
  • Are interested in leveraging the latest technology and AI in your day to day.

What do we offer?

At Attensi you will become part of an exciting and rapidly growing scale-up that is already a global leader in its field. You get to work in a flat, open, and free environment, surrounded by committed, smart and talented colleagues from a variety of backgrounds, both culturally and academically.

Attensi is committed to giving people the opportunity to grow and you will also be able to develop your role over time. You will also be offered exciting challenges in a dynamic and innovative environment with great ambitions. Our office has an energetic and social working environment. We work hard, but also have a lot of fun together. On a cultural note, we hold monthly social activities like Attensi-days, sporting events, after-work drinks, parties, game nights and company trips. These are all ways in which we ensure we not only work together, but also play together!

Are you ready to make a significant impact on the solutions and products you work on? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with other technical and creative minds? Are you someone who can navigate a quick path to a robust solution, all while testing and refining ideas along the way? If so, we want you on our team!
