About the role
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Finance Manager to join our team in Norway. This is not a traditional finance role focused on reporting and control — it is a high-impact position for someone who wants to help build a company from the inside and grow into a future CFO role.
As Finance Manager, you will work closely with the CEO on some of the company’s most important strategic priorities: fundraising, financial strategy, business modeling, pricing, revenue growth, and company building. You will help shape how the business grows, how we tell our equity story, and how we build a scalable and commercially strong company.
This is a startup role in the truest sense. You will have significant autonomy, broad responsibility, and real influence from day one. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-ownership environments, enjoys working across disciplines, and wants to build rather than simply manage.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the CEO as a strategic finance partner across company building and growth
- Help shape and develop the company’s financial strategy and long-term business model
- Build and refine financial models to support strategic decisions, growth planning, and scenario analysis
- Play a central role in fundraising processes, investor dialogue, and capital strategy
- Help develop and communicate the company’s equity story and investment case
- Support pricing strategy, commercial structures, and revenue model development
- Identify growth opportunities and help translate strategy into financial and commercial execution
- Collaborate closely with the company’s accountant and external partners to ensure strong financial foundations
- Take ownership of cross-functional projects across finance, operations, and commercial development
- Support operational initiatives and, where relevant, engage directly with customers and commercial stakeholders
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in finance, corporate finance, investment, strategy, or similar
- Strong financial modeling skills and commercial acumen
- Experience with fundraising, transactions, investor-facing work, or capital strategy is a strong advantage
- Strong business understanding and interest in company building
- Comfortable working across both strategic and hands-on operational topics
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and strong execution ability
- Excited by ambiguity, pace, and broad responsibility
- Strong communication skills in English; Norwegian is a plus
