Founding UK Sales Lead
Build AnkerDB in the UK. This is a founding commercial role for someone who understands the gap between strategic ambition and project reality, and knows how to earn credibility in a skeptical market.
We’re looking for the person who will build AnkerDB in the UK.
Not to “cover the region.” To build the position.
The UK is its own market. Smaller, tighter, more skeptical, and harder to bluff your way through. That’s what makes it interesting.
You’ll be our first commercial hire focused on the UK. No handover. No ready-made territory. No corporate scaffolding. Just a strong product, a sharp market, and the opportunity to build trust the right way.
The UK sits in an interesting middle ground. The market cares deeply about standards, process, and digital ambition, but what gets said at the strategic level and what actually happens on projects are often two different things. You need to be comfortable in both worlds: commercially grounded enough to understand how work actually gets done, and sharp enough to navigate the language of policy, transformation, and institutional change without getting lost in it.
That matters because trust in this market is earned differently. Buyers are informed, cautious, and rarely impressed by noise. They care about credibility, clarity, and whether you actually understand the tradeoffs they live with.
This role is for someone who can work independently, build conviction carefully, and earn trust with serious people. You’ll need good instincts, commercial discipline, and enough industry understanding to know when the market is talking and when it’s just performing.
What matters most is not polished sales theatre. It’s judgment, credibility, and the ability to build something real.

We’re not looking for someone to “own UK sales.” We’re looking for the person who should build the UK business.
